Forget about struggling with heavy and bulky parasol bases – IGGÖN is easy to bring home, install and move thanks to the practical handles on each bag. The sandbags are made from 90% recycled polyester, a durable and waterproof textile that resists mould and dirt. It’s easy to keep the canopy clean and fresh since you can easily remove and machine wash it. It’s easy to open and close the parasol by pulling the handle up or down. The parasol automatically locks in open position. The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate. The colour stays fresh for longer, as the fabric is highly resistant to fade thanks to the good lightfastness. The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation. The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives. The parasol pole is made of aluminium which means it won’t rust. The strap with buckle keeps the fabric in place when folded. You are protected from the sunshine all day long, since the parasol can be tilted. The parasol does not provide protection against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation. This product is suitable for use in a public environment since the design and the material are optimised for frequent use. Minimum 30 kg of sand is needed for each bag.
